How to Use the Preschool Packs
The preschool pack comes with a list of materials and brief instructions for each activity. Print out the activity-related pages on card stock or paper and cut as needed. If you want to use the activities more than once, you can laminate them!

Activities found in the 16 pages of the Ice Cream Preschool Theme Unit include:
*Math: sorting- sort the shapes out by type
*Science: magnetic experiment - find items and predict if they will be magnetic. Test with a magnet. Write results
*Art: paint- paint an ice cream with a cotton ball that is pinched by a clothespin
*Language Art: ABC order-put the ice cream ABC cards in their correct alphabetical order
*Dramatic Play: ice cream shop - mark the ice cream menus with customer’s order. Use the ice cream cone cards or play dough to “make” the order
*Other Skills: name practice- child writes a letter from his/her name on each of the ice cream cards and puts together name
