I finally bought my kids some dart guns and they played with them all the time for a couple days. Then, they got tired of them. Argh. I created 4 super fun printable games my kids love and yours will too.
The major problem I have found with the dart guns is that they get the darts all over the house. These brilliant games can be played outside. Problem solved! (They can be played inside too!)
Dart Gun Fun Games
These printable games come with four games in a printable pdf file. You can print from home or an office store.
1. Target Practice
The target practice game is really fun and comes with 10 targets with point values. You can hang these up on your garage door with painter's tape so that it didn't leave sticky tape marks behind. Also, it comes with a score sheet.
Your child can hit a target each round. It doesn't matter how many darts they use each round, just record when they hit one. Write the point value for each round and then add them up in the end.
2. Knock Down the Monsters
This dart gun game is so much fun! The printables come with little monsters that have point values. You can cut out the monsters and tape them to cups.

3. Training Board Game
This colorful board game is sure to be a hit with your kids. The players take turns rolling to see how many spaces they should go forward. They need to read the space and follow the directions. The first person to the finish wins.
4. Timed Target Practice
Your kids will have so much fun seeing how fast they can hit each of these 6 targets. We taped ours to the garage door with painter's tape so that it didn't leave sticky tape marks behind.
If your child gets frustrated by not being able to get all of the targets as fast as a sibling or friend, just have them race against their own time.
